When the Chipmunks and the Chipettes were stargazing, Alvin accidentally wish he'd never met Brittany in the middle of their argument. Now Brittany's gone and no one remembers her, except for Alvin.

Simone and Jeanette were divorced, but the only way he could feel better is to find another girl in his dreams or to get Jeanette back.

He sat down beside the blonde chipette and listened intently. The blonde looked at Alvin with despair in her eyes. "Drugs." ___ "Stop the nightmare!" The brunette shouted, his hands stuck on his cheeks. "Please! Stop it! I want a normal- normal life!" He pressed his face against the pillow, his blanket thrown on his small body. "I just...want to close my eyes." ___ "Jeanette, please!" Alvin held Jeanette's wrist. Jeanette closed her eyes, tears almost flowing due to the pain she's feeling. "Tell me!" Alvin commanded. Jeanette flinched. "If you won't, everything could be worse!" Alvin convinced, trying to guilt-trip Jeanette. "Anything could happen, you could lose everything." Jeanette's tears started to come out slowly, and Alvin checked the monitor. "Jeanette, tell me what you saw back there." ___ It's the year where everything changed. Everything, everything. Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette, Eleanor. They'll be different - in a certain way. Join these rodents as they face the inevitable, defeat or victory. Simon is to nervous to tell his true feelings to Jeanette, she then seems to like another guy named Liam, now Simon will have to tell her before it's to late.

Simon and Jeanette have returned home after their traumatic experience on the island. After the concert, Alvin, somewhat bluntly but curiously, asks them if they will continue dating, or if what happened on the island was just a temporary fantasy. This seemingly innocent question sets in motion a series of thoughts and feelings in both of them.

Simon and Jeanette had been married for almost 3 years now, yet for the last two years, they only got to see each other for less than 3 hours a day because of their overbearing jobs. So one night, Alvin, being as mischievous as he is, came up with a plan and saw Theodore and Eleanor's upcoming wedding as a great opportunity to put his plan to action. NOTE: This story takes place 15 years in the future.
