Diluc and Jean have always had feelings for each other, no matter how reluctant the two are to admit it. Besides, their personalities clash. He actively hates the Knights of Favonius, and she, well, she's the Acting Grand Master of the Knights of Favonius. Two different people could never work together. right? Either way, the attraction between Jean and Diluc is undeniable, and Kaeya is tired of watching them dance around each other. What happens when he meddles a little? By the time he returned, the moon was high in the sky and Kaeya had come to a revelation. Jean was right. He did enjoy torturing himself. And for all that it's worth, he couldn't figure out why. Little did he know that the red-haired man that had been following him from a distance this entire time was just as confused. The clock struck midnight and Kaeya felt like he could breathe again.
