Eric and Max, the Dauntless leaders are trying their best to side with Jeanine Matthews, who like them (Eric and Max) are trying to find and kill those who are Divergent. Tobias and Tris try their best to shelter and protect those who are Divergent, but they get separated in the attempt. Will they ever find each other, or will they have to continue with their lives, fearful and worried because of their Divergence? Along the way, they face many problems, and they have no choice but to overcome it.
