Wren Andromeda doesn't expect to make friends when she enlists in the military. All she wants to do is follow in her parents' footsteps. Let the military turn her into a weapon and join the Scouts. But fate has different plans. Wren's world gets flipped upside-down when she meets the other members of the 104th Cadet Corps. She suddenly finds herself making friends, maybe even more than friends. Unfortunately, there always has to be a downside. Hers shows up in the form of the oh so cocky and arrogant Jean Kirstein. Jean x OC (with a bit of Marco x OC bc I love him) !!! Characters are aged up and enlist in the military at 15 instead of 12, so they are 18 at the time of graduation !!! *mostly canon compliant to the show(some events/dialogue/other things may be altered for the sake of the story so bear with me; also may be different because I don't wanna check lol) **I apologize if any spelling is off, I'm basing it off both the manga and show ***probably not completely proofread note: I'm writing this story without a clear plan of where I want it to go or where I want it to end, so I apologize for any sloppy storytelling

Leaving the capitol city and escaping the presence of her father by joining the cadet corps is Amelia's only way out. Gerald has always hated her- and now she intends to give him a reason. Train, graduate in the top 10, and spit in his face by joining the survey core. Falling in love was NOT part of her plan... "Geez, one comment bruises your ego that much?" She chuckles quietly. Jean huffs as a scowl forms on his face. "Why don't you worry about your own, princess. I bet your ego is just as over-inflated as the rest of the nobles."
