[ONGOING - Crossposted from Ao3] In the wake of a new world, Jean finds himself stuck between an unfulfilled promise, misunderstood feelings, and what it means to be a man when he's haunted by past dreams and nightmares. Pieck has lived on borrowed time for nearly a decade, and now that she's stumbled across the rest of her life, she must come to terms with the absence of desires, ghosts of her past, and a sense of belonging that she hasn't allowed herself to pursue in years. The fragile truce between Paradis and the rest of the world must be founded upon cooperation, and amongst unrest between citizens, governments, and a newly formed rift between the ambassadors themselves, Jean and Pieck find themselves entwined in a pivotal role in keeping the world from destroying itself.

Jean and Pieck never get along, always mocking and hating each other. Until suddenly their lives changed when they decided to have reconciled.
