Jean Valjean is the protagonist of Victor Hugo's 1862 novel Les Misérables. Hugo depicts the character's 19-year-long struggle to lead a normal life after serving a prison sentence for stealing bread to feed his sister's children during a time of economic depression and various attempts to escape from prison. Valjean is also known in the novel as Monsieur Madeleine, Ultime Fauchelevent, Monsieur Leblanc, and Urbain Fabre. Valjean and Police Inspector Javert, who repeatedly encounters Valjean and attempts to return him to prison, have become archetypes in literary culture. In the popular imagination, the character of Jean Valjean came to represent both Hugo himself and leftist sentiment.

In this story the KOTLC crew are humans(sorry guys) and don't know eachother. They never met until the day their school puts on the musical Les Miserables. That is when eight lives converged and each with a terrible(or not so terrible) secret.

A Les Mis holiday fic (modern au). Inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest. Jean Valjean returns home Christmas Eve to find his house filled with college students. Turns out Cosette's friends needed somewhere to stay for the holidays, and she volunteered her place. Valjean decides that they are all his children now and becomes the Ultimate Dad. Mostly just JVJ interacting with the amis, but also so Enjoltaire and Courferre stuff, as well as a few other ships.

After being abandoned by her mother at a very young age, Eponine Thenardier and her siblings were taken in by Jean Valjean, who ruled her kingdom until she became of age. Her friendship with Valjean's daughter, Cosette, is put to the test when her friend attempts to get her married to one of three suitors from other kingdoms. When a cursed tart changes Cosette's fate, Eponine must save her best friend and mend their friendship before it's too late. (This was once again written by my friend, so I hope you all enjoy this! It's similar to Les Miserables. This story is located in the Paris Rebellion times. Tina Valjean is a lady who lives with Jean Valjean, her father. Her mother passed away when she was seven years old. Her father arranged a marriage for her daughter but she doesn't like it, so she escaped and joined the rebellion where she met Newt. Newt is a gentleman and hates the arrangement that his grandfather gave him. His grandfather doesn't like Tina because she is too spoiled by his father. However, Newt keeps on persuading and proved that she is not spoiled by her father. His grandfather has given him a girl, he didn't like, so he eloped to join the barricade where he met Tina. BOTH OF THEM FACE DIFFICULTIES. how can Newt prove his grandfather that he is right? Go and check it out now!
