Heyo long time no chat! Jean and Armin have a little talk in the dressing room after the school musical rehearsal. Thank you sooo much for reading. I love you all! I also do not own Empty Chairs at Emoty Tables or any of the characters mentioned.

This happens right after the death of Marco Bott. Jean's psyche is slowly breaking down as he sinks deeper into depression, until Armin comes along. At the same time Eren and Levi are falling in love, until one of them dies. See the themes of falling in love and heart break in "The World is a Cruel but Beautiful Place."

In the past, Jean and Armin loved each other fiercely. But the fact remained that neither of them had the courage to tell the other how they felt. Death had found them just like a lot of members from the Scouting Legion, and they died with barely a whisper of their feelings brushed on their lips. In the present, Jean and Armin go to the same school, though they have never seen each other before. Life gives a second chance when the two met on that fateful day. Will visions of the past help them restore the connection they once held and lost a lifetime ago? The future remains a mystery. The pair have never felt such a strong bond before, but the struggles of everyday life really begin to test their relationship. Jean still believes he is straight and Armin's bullies have left him hopeless and on the verge of depression. In order to reach the happy ending each so very much desires, things will have to take an unexpected and dangerous twist.

Jean had to take a sick day when his math teacher gave notes for a math test. Luckily, someone shares the same class with him and is willing to share...

Eren and Armin are the closest friends, and have been since they were five. Of course it was only natural since they were so close, Armin spilled the beans about his feelings towards Eren when they were ten. He developed them during a truth or dare game where they dared Eren to kiss Armin, of course Eren would tease Armin about it all the time. Even to this day, Armin would have given up on Eren so long ago if it hadn't been for the way Eren also flirted with Armin. He wanted Armin to keep interest in him just incase Eren began to feel better about dating boys, which he eventually did, but in a way he nor Armin had seen coming. When Eren's enemy Jean develops feelings for Armin during a school project, they hit it off, leaving Eren behind and extremely jealous too. He wanted Armin all to himself but sadly Armin had new intrest in Jean. Will Eren ever get Armin back or will Jean steal him away, they both brought light in to Armin's life like the Sun and Stars. {Smut, Profanity, no triggering content}

Armin was put in a rough position by Hanji and Eren. When following through with their plan, he faces a deadly experience. He would've been titan fodder if it wasn't from Jean rushing to save him at the last minute. Now severely injured, Armin has to sit back until he is healed, but can he accept the fate? Armin never really noticed Jean a whole lot, except when they passed desks in their math class together, or when Jean got into petty fights with Eren. But when Armin's best friends forgot about his birthday, Jean was the one to actually remember.
