As they try to resist talking to their fans, they begin building even more of a family than they could've asked for. Will Blurryface bring new doubts to Tyler's life with this family, or will all work out fine? Anytime I ask about what happened before the accident, Tyler just tells me not to worry about it, that nothing too important happened. I don't know why but sometimes I feel like this isn't real. That my whole life is just a show or an illusion. The doctors said that my source of reality was just jacked up after the accident, but I don't know if I believe them. I mean, they won't even tell me what happened to me.

Tyler and Josh were separated after their flock was defeated in a war with humans. Tyler was illegally sent to a secret research facility while Josh was taken to a city and treated like a human, expected to act like one. Neither of them felt happy in their new homes. Tyler was always tormented and the only person that gave him hope was in the same dangers because of him. Josh felt stuck and uncomfortable and the only person that agreed with him had the same dream to escape. Escape seems easy at first, but when their opportunities arrive, they find that it's a lot harder than they thought to be free.
