STAR WARS: HISTORY OF THE HARVESTER
Authored by: Elvin Ibis
The Jedi Order is ash. The Galaxy is a machine. But in the cracks of the durasteel, a weed is starting to grow.
Weilt Saffreon was never meant to be a hero. He was a gardener. A reject of the Jedi, sent to the Agri-Corps due to his inproficiency to War. Tasked with tending soil in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant while the Knights and Masters fought the Clone Wars. But when Order 66 burned the galaxy down; Weilt survived not by fighting, but by bonding with a parasitic Vyla vine that feeds on his connection to the sister side of the Cosmic Force.
The Living Force.
Now, hunted by the Empire and haunted by a hunger he can barely control, Weilt commands the Iron Petal; A rusted ship manned by a crew of broken survivors: a cynical Chiss tactician, a separatist medic droid with a god complex, an insectoid Gand mystic, a Dowutin mercenary with a stoic attitude, and a enigmatic shapeshifter Clawdite with a dislike for her true Identity..
They aren't Rebels. They are the Keepers.
While Luke Skywalker looks to the stars, Weilt looks to the dirt. Armed with a lightsaber grafted from scrap and a connection to the Force that is more biology than magic; he must survive evading the empire, while also connecting the pieces of his Agri Corps Lineage, and protecting his patch of pesky weeds that he calls family.
All while he fights the Empire on the Outer Rim; the Eleventh Inquistor who wants to turn the galaxy into an eternal rotting garden in order to find Weilt, and Weilts own hunger and seduction to the Dark Side of the Living Force.
To save the future, Weilt must do the one thing the Jedi forbade: He must put down roots and grow into one of the things the Galaxy needs in these Dark Times. A Harvester.
The Seed must Break to Bloom; The Bloom must carry the Seed.
