I wrote the story, because I don't like the thought that Anakin slaughtered the younglings. Therefore I let a small group escape along with their Jedi Master and her friend. I first wrote the story in my native language German in 2005, right after I saw Episode III the first time.

Sage is the star pupil of Jedi Master Jaibon Chayer. Xodji has just become a Padawan, and it feels as if she is lightyears behind the other Jedi Apprentices! Things have gotten... complicated lately. It has been a year since the fall of Starlight Beacon, a year since Xodji lost her Best Friend. But when Sage turns up-traumatized but alive-Xodji has never felt as if they were farther apart, and has never felt as much an Imposter to the order as she does now. Meanwhile, Sage is still grieving for their master. Sage wonders why things have to change, why The Galaxy can't be more predictable, and why things have gotten more complicated between them and their friend.
