Mello decides to leave Wammy's House for good. He can't stand it there anymore. Matt decides to leave with him. He didn't want to be left alone in that orphanage by himself. Mello often tell him how he was stupid for following, but Matt knew it was the right thing. A month, or two, later, they somehow end up being a part of the mafia. Mello and Matt have gotten older, and things are becoming different. Mello is mood-ier, and Matt... spends most of his time alone. What happens when Matt hears about Mello's insane plan to blow up a warehouse? What happens when he finds Mello after the explosion? What happens when Matt starts to notice that he may have different feelings for Mello? What happens when everything changes? Well, as they say... here's to New Beginnings.

Matt. An average young person with an average start on life. He's average height, average appearing, average in pretty much everything. He is dull, boring, and entirely unassuming. Some would even say that he has no point in life. Some would sa - Okay, okay, okay. Enough of that! Do you have any idea how hard it is to make yourself sound normal? Pretty dog gone hard, I'd say! Here's the real me. I am Matt, just your friendly jabberman with a certain affinity for electronics and saying too much before thinking things through. Aaaaaaand that's the point of this book. It is my attempt to stay on track with life and ward of the daydreams in the middle of class - that's just plain awkward. Matt has tried his best to help you cope with your anxiety, but he really doesn't know what to do. He has his own problems with ADHD and gaming. (You can't really blame him.) Mello has also changed after the Kira case. He has been moody an irritable lately. You've been desperately searching for a cure, for all of your mental states. What is the one thing now, that can fix all the problems?

Ramona Reynolds is completely happy with her life at Wammy's House For Gifted Children, aside from the aching pain that she has had since the mysterious death of her parents and brother. Other wise, totally happy, until she realizes that she and her friends are no longer children...will friendship evolve into relationships? Will Ramona lose the only family she has ever really known? Guess you'll just have to read to find out ;D

There are two things that really get on L's nerves. Stealing his cake, and seeing children used as punching bags. So when he sees a young girl driven to jumping off of a third floor balcony by her abusive mother, he steps in. After meeting the rest of the Wammy boys, this girl will eventually become part of a close, slightly dysfunctional, family. May be some OC/Near but nothing else romance related Mostly focusing on the girl's life with L. Rating may change due to cursing *coughMelloMattcough* and just some general dark themes like abuse and angst. Other than that, enjoy my second story!
