With the rise in outbreaks of deviancy in androids, Cyberlife decides to fight fire with fire by creating a new android model, RY300; an android created to be deviant. Of course, they can't leave it unmonitored.

He's also assigned a new partner who works for an organization believed to be a front for a mob. They have to work together to find out who the killer is but will it be that easy? Connor is the new (human) Detroit Police Department rookie, partnered with Lieutenant Hank Anderson, but Hank realizes something is not right when he see's his new rookie partner walking home in the ice and snow. When he discovers Connor is homeless, he invites the rookie to live with him as "What kind of Lieutenant would I be if my new rookie partner was found outside sleeping?" Hank discovers more about his new roommate, things he never expected.
