When James wakes up, his head his pounding. He can't remember drinking anything, but supposes he must have because it feels like he's been hit square between the eyes with a bludger. He's never been one to get hungover, but he knows this is what it's supposed to feel like. Although, come to think of it, he doesn't remember celebrating their victory on the pitch, isn't completely sure they had one at all. The last thing he remembers is turning to look to the stands, revelling in the roars of his fellow Gryffindors, certain that they were going to beat Hufflepuff. Then, he turned and... was hit square between the eyes with a bludger. Now he's stuck in the hospital wing, and the bed next to his is occupied by none other than Regulus Black.

Sirius invites his brother Regulus to dinner with his friends. Regulus is reluctant, usually not a fan of meeting new people. That is, until he meets James. James originally wasn't very interested in getting to know Sirius' brother, but by the end of the night, he found they had a lot more chemistry than he'd thought.

Regulus Black has asked himself countless times, what is he willing to sacrifice? What is he willing to lose? His status, his parents, his intelligence, or maybe even his friends? The answer is that he would sacrifice it all, even if it meant they'd face a horrible death. Regulus hated that about himself because no matter who or what it was, he'd sacrifice everything for Sirius even if it meant his own life. Sounds adorable right, well it's not because the sad fact that Sirius would never do the same. Sirius would sacrifice Regulus for James.

When your mother promises you she'll be back, you'll believe her...But that's not what happened to Harry Potter.
