Eloise Pontmercy is the daughter of Marius and Cosette Pontmercy. When she was five, her family moved to Toulouse to forget the memories that plagued her father's mind. But the les amis don't want to be forgotten... In a turn of events, Eloise finds herself in the café musain whilst on holiday in Paris. The café has been left abandoned due to rumors about the ghosts of the ámis still being there. Will Eloise realise why her father wanted to forget? Or will she make the ultimate sacrifice to be with her father's comrades?

Les Amis de l'ABC is a group of college-aged students, a rag tag team that meets at the cafe Musain a few days a week. Their leader, Enjolras is always seeming to be committed to his work while remaining serious and stoic. When a street artist begins decorating the sidewalks and walls near ABC with words of mockery, he doesn't seem to notice. The other members, however, do. The anonymous artist always signs their works with a single letter, "R". Enjolras says to leave it alone, but a few members can't help but try to figure out who's doing it and why. (Modern AU, Musichetta runs the cafe, they're all in college with the exception of Musichetta and Gavroche. A few of the Les Amis work at the cafe, etc. Kind of cliche, heads up!)

One second they're fighting outside of the Musain and the next Enjolras is tugging on his brown tangles and they're kissing. It tastes like desire and anger and whiskey.

Gantaire is a depressed art student. Enjolras' majoring in politics and has really bad asthma and anxiety. They share a room and a friend group. When Enjolras walks into their dorm, he knows Grantaire has gotten a new assignment. The smell of paint and alcohol is heavy in the air and Enjolras can't help but cough.

Death, with its inky black tendrils and malevolent tendencies, couldn't haunt him in his dreams, because blue eyes and golden hair and kind hands already did. Death couldn't strike him as absolutely paralyzed as life could, which was pathetic, if Grantaire stopped to think about it, because life had nothing on Enjolras. 'My world starts and ends with you', Grantaire thinks. And somehow, because life is cruel and a dark sense of humor apparently comes with the job description, it isn't even a lie. But Grantaire can deal. He can deal because he's dealt before and he's never stopped dealing, and stupid, innocuous things like hearts that beat too fast too loud in certain company, and thoughts that stray too far, and skin that prickles hot when you meet the eyes that greet you in your sleep, can't break a cardboard prince if he believes it hard enough.

in which a group of misfits who are each extraordinarily angry about the state of the government have quirky misadventures together. les amis modern sit-com au! a cross between Friends and Parks and Recreation many people on tumblr and other various social media platforms have had this idea, I just kind of made it happen, so the idea isn't exactly "mine" per se, but there have been so many people with the same idea that I don't know who to give credit to. the characters of "les amis" come from the book les miserables by victor hugo. however, the plot and a few side characters all belong to me.
