All Jehan has ever known is the little tower he lives in and the company of his guardian, Madame Thénardier and his chameleon companion, Courfeyrac. What he wants to know his the mysterious lights that always pop up on his birthday. All Montparnasse has ever known is a life of crime and fleeing with his gang of criminals. And that's all he wants to know. When fate--or a horse--brings this "unlikely" pair together, the law; a tavern of revolutionaries; and magic, flower-powered hair will make this a parody to remember. A Les Mis holiday fic (modern au). Inspired by a post I saw on Pinterest. Jean Valjean returns home Christmas Eve to find his house filled with college students. Turns out Cosette's friends needed somewhere to stay for the holidays, and she volunteered her place. Valjean decides that they are all his children now and becomes the Ultimate Dad. Mostly just JVJ interacting with the amis, but also so Enjoltaire and Courferre stuff, as well as a few other ships.

After the passing of his father, Prince Courfeyrac was subjected to being a second class citizen in the eyes of his stepmother, until a bespectacled prince crosses his path and a well-meaning mirror spills a secret. Jehan Prouvaire was a poor boy who had a gift to give to the world through his poetry. Montparnasse was a hungry young man who was no stranger to the wind. When their paths cross, their connection leads to some hard decisions and a trip to the Underworld that will either make or break their lives -- and the Gods'.
