A retelling of The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Set in an alternate earth where it is said magic once existed but has faded by modern era. However that is furthest from the truth as magic does exist and it is even said that much of earth's magic went to the creation of a second world in a parallel dimension. The origins of this parallel dimension and the world known as Astralia is unknown but Earth and Astralia are interconnected. The inhabitants able to travel between worlds through rifts often they are protected by the world's governments. Supernatural beings that would be described as monsters and those who possess magic exist in both worlds. Although there are humans born with odd abilities and powers that are hunted. Experts say that it could be magic's influence mutating the species. Supernatural creatures also exist although many have died out or lost their full power over the years. Thanks to modern technology and advancements in magical tools and devices alchemy is possible for anyone to perform with these catalyst. Those who practice are often labeled as psuedo scientists or witches same with those who are born with these abilities. It often leads to oppression or worse death.
