Jeremy, for the most part, was okay with the effects of accidentally drinking Mountain Dew. Having an upgraded Squip that's no longer a complete douchebag (okay, he's still a little shitty, but nothing too unbearable)? Cool. Squip playing matchmaker for him and his multiple crushes? [art credit goes to amelia dear on pinterest] [lowercase aesthetic not used in story] michael mell thought he disliked- no, hated- rich goranski. for most junior year, rich had bullied michael and his best friend jeremy heere. he'd also given jeremy the idea to get a squip- a super quantum unit intel processor. the squip took jeremy away from michael, leaving him alone. but now that the squip epidemic is over, rich had been getting nicer to jeremy and michael. now it's their senior year and jake, jeremy, rich, and michael are all close friends. jake and jeremy had started dating, leaving rich and michael alone more often. to michael, rich was only a friend, but what he didn't know is that rich thought of him as more.

(Previously known as 'Friends Forever?') After the "Optic nerve blocking scene", a massive wall stands between two best friends. With the loss of Micheal Mell, Jeremy was able to accomplish a large growth in popularity. Micheal suffers a parallel fate, unable to escape the constant torment that comes with being unpopular in high school. Michael is now left alone with no chance, friends, or anything resembling a social life. He has nowhere else to turn. At the begging of their last year of high school, Michael wants to change himself, hopefully for better, maybe for worse . He's made his choice. He wants to get a Squip.

We all know about the squip. How it hurt everyone in some sort of way. Jeremy with mental abuse and constant shocks as punishment for not following instructions. Michael by making his closest and only friend of 12 years ignore him, even though he would risk everything for his happiness. But what if the squip was nice? What if Jeremy's squip wasn't so bad, and instead was actually trying to help Jeremy, and full of human emotions? What would change, everything, or nothing? Would the events still happen, would Jeremy and Christine get together as they did in 'Voices in my head'? Read to find out. (Inspired by phanperson2232's story 'What If?')
