on most nights Sofia Haynes can be found in a dim candle light fighting a needle in her arm. It's a terrible way to live but a way to live nonetheless. For a while she was accompanied by a Dr. Spencer Reid. He would bring her a certain comfort found only in complete understanding. But when they both get sober, they found themselves drifting apart, which they both thought was for the best. They would catch each other occasionally at the BAU AA meetings, but no more dim candle light. Both of them were getting genuinely better until trauma struck them without mercy. Sofia's mother's birthday passed, who had been an avid seeker of heroin, and died only two years before. Spencer watched a child no more than seventeen die right in front of his eyes. Sofia soon kept back into the horrendous cycle of addiction and depression. Spencer joined her not too long after. When their personal lives clash with their work when a case comes up, what will happen when the team is unusually impressed in Sofia's skills?
