When Lauren loses her memory after an accident where she is hit by a car, it's up to her best friend Jessica to help get it back. The trouble is, Jess has never taken the lead before, and then she realises what she has to do. Lauren has been looking for an adventure since she was five years old. Lauren's nurse, Nurse Lana, tells Jess that she needs to do something close to Lauren's heart, and she realises that that means going on an adventure. But Jess can't just conjure up an adventure, and there's the added fact that Jess hates, and is terrified of, adventures. She only has two weeks to restore Lauren's memory before it's gone forever. However, late one night a man breaks into Lauren's house to kidnap her. Jess recognises him as the man who hit Lauren with his car, and then she recognises him as someone else...someone she thought was dead. Jess tries to protect Lauren, and ends up being kidnapped too. They are taken to an old warehouse in London, and escape. Then they must go on the run, living on the streets of London and trying not to get caught... Will it help Lauren get her memories back?...or will they be gone forever?... And more importantly, will they get caught?...

No story is ever set in stone. Not all characters are portrayed correctly. Not all endings are what they seem, and most happily every afters don't happen. For Princess Aurora and Prince Charming, their fairytale story never went along with their book.
