Michael Mell is in love with his best friend, Jeremy Heere. Of course, he'd never admit it. He'd do anything to keep himself from losing Jeremy, which is exactly what would happen if Jeremy knew. He knows he'd get left behind, just like at the Halloween party. Which is exactly why, when he realizes he has hanahaki disease, he keeps it a secret. He makes sure nobody asks about the blood he tends to cough up, or the gorse flowers and petals that come with the blood. He doesn't go to the doctor for help, or to anyone. There's a surgery he could get, but it would take away his emotions, and he'd rather die than have that happen. He'd rather let his love literally kill him. [WARNING] [THIS IS AN AU. IT DIVERGES FROM THE CANON STORY] What if the SQUIP showed it's true colors early on. So...I don't think that the SQUIP would automatically take the form of Michael, I think it would happen after a certain set of circumstances. Let's say if the SQUIP was a bit more malicious with it's tactics it would probably take the form of the person Jeremy trusts the most (aka Michael) and made Jeremy think that Michael never really cared about or wanted to be around him or something along that line. The way I see it, I don't think Jeremy would trust Michael much after. The "loser" scene at the halloween party probably would have gone much differently.

Based off of Be More chill Michael struggles with this undeniable feelings for Jeremy. Jeremy still likes Christine, making it difficult for Michael to express his feelings to Jeremy. He can't help but feel conflicted everytime he sees Christine. JUST A BTW, I DONT NORMALLY WRITE FANFICTION. Michael and Jeremy were dormmates. Slowly but surely, Jeremy and Christine realized that a long distance relationship wasn't working in their favour.
