Mitch is a senior. Uprooted from his old, comfortable life in Maine, where his best friend lives, he is dragged down to Florida, forced to start over. He finds himself surrounded by a new group of friends and, with them, new sets of challenges every day. He learns to love his new life, and slowly, his old one starts to fade. He can never forget what happened there, though. He will never forget his first love, whose memory he is forced to remember, or his father, who he wants to keep close forever.

What happens when Scott's band pentatonix,(consisting of Avi Kaplan, Jeremy lewis, Kevin Olusola, Scott hoying, and Kirstin Maldonado) goes on a cruise...but as fate would have it, the boat gets Wrecked, and the crew is stranded on a strange island with some seemingly savage natives?
