It's Daryl's first night since his escape and he's having trouble sleeping.

Sur un coup de tête celui-ci s'enfuit et va rejoindre sa mère et sa sœur à Toledo, laissant ses amis et sa petite-amie sans même les prévenir. C'est seulement bien des années après que le jeune homme revient dans sa ville d'enfance. Cependant Riverdale n'est plus la même, lui et ses anciens amis non plus. C'est avec un lourd fardeau que Jughead va tenter de se battre pour retrouver goût à la vie...

All his life Daryl's had this annoying ability to read the minds of everyone around him with no way of making it stop, except to live in isolation. So he moves up in to the mountains and only comes to town a few times a year, but is meet with glares and an hateful thoughts each time. While trying to hurry up and get the few items he needed, a stranger runs in to him and for once, Daryl hears nothing. Not one single thought from this man or the other people around them. For the first time in his life, the only voice he has in his head, is his own.

It had been so long since Daryl had a romantic relationship, but will that soon come to an end? Jesus, a new member of Rick's group is introduced to Daryl, to fight the saviors. What will go down? Will Daryl face the facts when it comes to Jesus? Or deny his love for him?

His escape was hardly as heroic as he once thought it might have been, back before he was the dog of the Saviors, back when he still had bite. But now, that was gone, all that was left was trauma, both physical and mental. So when Daryl fell off his bike, sobbing at the sight of the Hilltop, at the sight of freedom, whether it was temporary or merely fleeting, he barely scolded himself.
