Remember that book you read in middle school, Bridge To Terabithia? The one that started out as just a lighthearted coming-of-age story and then all of a sudden, BAM! The lovable Leslie Burke drowns to death while Jesse Aarons is looking at some art with his crush, Ms. Edmunds. 𝘛𝘩𝘢𝘵 book. To write this script, I spent a lot of time and effort reading, researching and rewatching the original story. This script includes some recurring characters, such as Jesse Aarons, Mary Aarons, May Belle Aarons, Joyce Ann Aarons and Julia Edmunds. I highly recommend rewatching the 2007 film before reading this script, as well as googling how the cast looks today, since they have aged roughly the same amount of years as their characters in my story.
