This story takes place in London. But before we begin we must discuss the before: A family of four lived happily in a condo outside of Los Angeles, California. The two parents, Natalie and Grayson, were married for thirteen years. Rayne and Freya, their twin daughters are sixteen years of age. In the middle of the night Freya restlessly got up to get a glass of water. In the process she startled two men who had broken in and were bagging up their valuables. Screaming Freya had her parents come running along with her sister. The next thing she saw was one of the men pulling out a hand gun. Two shots rang out and Rayne grabbed her sister in a hurry. The girls took off in a sprint. Running and crying hysterically the sound of the men continuing their heist sounded over their parents sobs. Looking back over her shoulder, Freya glanced at her parents. Her mother was waving them goodbye, and their father's last words was I love you. ••• Fast forward the girls eventually run inside their local police department. They tell them everything, and they never do find the men. Their parents passed away and the girls are shipped off to London where they are to begin their new lives with their uncle. Himself being a busy man he apologetically sends them to the most prestigious boarding school in London. From Darkness to Light the girls feel as if they only have each other.
