Hello! this is an infinity train fanfiction, and my first ever one! this fanfiction will be a Jesse x Lake one because I find them adorable and am hyperfixated on infinity train at the moment. yes, this story will have angst but if I do anything that could potentially be triggering there will be a trigger warning, don't worry! I already have ideas for what I want to do with this story in the future, but if you have any suggestions I would love to hear them! onto an actual description, this story follows Lake and Jesse after they get off the train. As in pretty much directly after It's gonna be a slow burn story because I'm a huge fan of slow burn, and I'm gonna try and work in some hurt/comfort eventually. also eventually, we're gonna have Lake try out different pronouns! as in they're gonna use any pronouns because Lake is trans. I say so, it's my story, but they haven't found that out yet so bare with me anyways, as previously stated this is my first story so don't judge it too harshly Enjoy!

What happened after Lake got off the train? Did she live a normal life? Did she go to school with Jesse? Was she chased by the authorities? Did she make enemies? Allies? Was she sent to a science lab? Those questions kept me awake at night (seriously, no joke). And some loose ideas started popping up in my mind so I thought to myself "Why not write that down?" And after I wrote that down just to myself I thought "Since it's already written why not publish it?" And here we are. This is seriously not much organized, just some loose ideas as I said before, but if I actually don't abandon this and it turns out somehting consistent, I might arrange and organize some stuff and make an official version of this and not just a beta version, so who knows? Based on Owen Dennis's "Infinity Train", this story is a possible outcome for Lake's escape from the Infinity Train. Following her escape from the enigmatic Infinity Train with best friend Jesse Cosay, Lake tries to find her place in the real world as a girl made of solid metal. However, misfortune strikes when Lake is spotted in public and the secret organization known as R.I.S.E. sends two of its detectives after the former denizen.
