Jessup thinks her husband has been killed and her son has been bit. Its the start of the zombie apocalypse. Before this happened, there were shows and movies that people thought, 'oh this is how its gonna go'. She starts to prepare like she saw in the the shows but in the process she meets someone new and has to get over the old.

Appeal to his conscience? Please! You know that's a load of bull. Come on, River, what are you going to to do when he finally corners you? You'll be trapped. He still has much hatred towards the invasion that changed his lives and the lives of many. He still feel the lost of his mother and Jimmy. But he has started to see things from a different perspective. With his spikes that he initially hated so much, he began to see the good effects they did to him. But that doesn’t mean he is embracing them willing. He is just trying to make the most of it. With a new found friendship with Kym for the past 2 years, he gradually changed. Kym lost all that she had in the invasion. She almost lost her life too. Her once perfect family was shattered and being with the 2nd Mass almost for three years has brought back some joy in her life, especially her best friend, Ben Mason. Like Ben, she too was trying to make sense of the world around her. She knows she has to move on despite how the world has become. This is the story of their friendship and how they find refuge in one another in this cruel world that they are now living.

This story will be in the point of view of the mother of the three masons . I don't remember her name so I'll just make one up and she lives though the apocalypse. There's a forbidden love in the book.
