Following the brutal murder of Jest, the latest court joker of Hearts, Catherine grieves his passing day by day as nothing but a hollow queen with no love to spare. With her heart taken by the Sisters, she now holds no feelings of content, only rage as she rules the kingdom with an iron fist. But after having reoccurring dreams of Jest still being alive, she conflicts with holding onto false hope that there might be some way of bringing him back to life. Stuck between finding consolation and scraping any last bits of hope, she is determined to find Time himself and alter the fate of Jest's death, even if it means putting the rest of the kingdom in danger. Will she retrieve her lost lover before her heart turns cold, or will bringing him back change the story of their fate altogether? Note: These are not my original characters or fandom, as I am writing a second part to Marissa Meyer's book "Heartless", which dives into the origin story of how the Queen of Hearts came to be. I highly recommend reading it if you have not already, and I take any constructive criticism that you all have to offer. Więc tak , urodziłam się w Listopadzie 1434 roku. (to jest zmyślona data) Uchodziłam się , za człowieka pomysłowego , wynalazłam maszynę do obdzierania ludzi ze skóry (bardzo to lubiłam robić). Jednak na drugim miejscu lubiłam polować , inni członkowie tego nie tolerowali co ja robię. Moje życie , zmieniło się tak jak by w piekło. Śpię w dzień w pokoju bez okien bowiem moje ciało źle reaguje na promienie słońca , w nocy zaś budzę się, wychodzę na taras mojego zamku posiadam umiejętność transformacji w nietoperza z czego wynika ze potrafię latać. Moi przyjaciele , nie uwierzyli , że się przemieniłam w Wampira. Od teraz pije krew i poluje.
