Orian knows it's not a great idea to end his life so early at barely eighteen, but the thoughts beckon at the back of his mind. Anxiety and PTSD cause him these dreams and memories of his brother's suicide so clearly in his mind, and the palace staff have noticed that the court jester, Eli, seems to be the only one who knows how to deal with the young king's episodes. Soon the jester is nearly always by Orian's side, ready for an episode to come, but something else set off between the two.
