After the battle with the Colossus of Monstrox, Merlock revealed that Clay had magic inside of him, but because Merlock hid his magical heritage from him, he didn't know. Now, as the knights found peace within their lives once again, a dark secret will be discovered...

After the battle with the Colossus of Ultimate Destruction, the Nexo Knights just want to chill. But when Clay starts getting nightmares, Merlok reveals a secret. After Jestro, the royal jester messes up his performance, he crosses paths with an Octopus! He releases it from its prison, and now Clay has to find and stop Jestro before it's too late! This story goes from a mashup of the Splatoon 1+2 hero modes to Splatoon 2 Octo Expansion and soon Splatoon 3. (Nexo Knights belong to Lego. Splatoon belongs to Nintendo.
