In this fictional tale, Joan Jett of The Runaways all girl teenage rock band gets in over her head again and takes some Halloween costumes from a photoshoot gone sour, just like last year. It's not stealing or illegal, Joan says, as her hotel keys dangle on her necklace by her swastika-embossed Iron Cross medal from 1945. Yeah, totally not illegal. Joan, as charismatically manipulative as she is, convinces the band to go along with the costumes and they all go trick-or-treating in the rich neighborhoods, where the people give out big chocolate bars. But, Joan and The Runaways aren't just going to trick-or-treat tonight, what they really want is to pull funny pranks on little children. What the girls of The Runways don't expect is that the stories of children going missing in the forested part of the neighborhood is about to become a reality, and someone... or something... is out to make a little Runaway pay.

As The Runaways rock band tours London with no breaks, the stress is rampant among the teenage girls and they run into conflicts with each other that they must resolve. In this fictional tale, the shit is about to hit the fan just like the powder kegs in the Balkans are ready to explode into a world war. Lita Ford gets pissed off at Cherie Currie for getting in the way of things, like when she tripped over Lita's amp when Lita was jamming to Highway Star. As if things couldn't get any worse, a distressed Lita also gets pissed off at Joan Jett after a little quarrel, and Lita chases Joan's footsteps like Joan owes her money after a swift exit out of their hotel. Lita faces a harsh reality and she realizes why she needs Cherie and why the band needs each other. All the while, Jackie Fox desperately tries to look around the local park to find where she dropped her lucky pick for her bass guitar!

Ariana goes home for Christmas for the first time in two years after a falling out with her parents. Between her daughter and her ex-husband she never expected to reconnect with someone from high school. Jett had a huge crush on Ariana in high school, but after she got married Jett assumed she missed her opportunity. Now it seems like she has a second chance, if only Ariana could see that too.
