"You know, this wasn't supposed to happen." Alia said. "I was supposed to live a normal life, or at least semi-normal." Ross tilted his head, simply refusing to let her think that. "But that's no fun, isn't it?" He asked, smiling. Alia sighed, glaring at him. "I didn't want fun. I just wanted normal." She spat. "I never thought I would meet R5, and I sure as hell didn't think I'd meet you." Ross' smile widened as he let out a light laugh. "But you want fun now, right? And you've met us, and you've definitely met me! This is now, not then. Riker winked, getting a sigh from Jenny in response. "Bull." She said, averting his gaze. "But it's true, no? You just have to learn to accept it." He crossed his arms, a smirk on his face. "Well, learning isn't exactly how I roll." Jenny laughed. "I'm sure it isn't," Riker replied.
