James and Riley used to be the closest thing to each other, inseparable best friends. But when Riley realises how feelings for James and soon finds out they are reciprocated, they both begin to distance themselves Until they nothing but strangers again.. But what happens when one turn of events brings them back into each others lives again?

so this is just two chapters each being about the same thing but in different scenarios. this is based off the next step season 6 episode 10 but is actually set in season 2. BTW i this i totally ship Jiley but i am featuring a lot of Jeth. thanks to my friend sydney for helping me come up with these ideas.....

A-Troupe Won Internationals at the end of Riley and James. Nothing could have been more perfect. Except everyone knew that after Internationals they were going to go separate way through college in the hope they would find their way back to each other And many of them did, they found their way back long before College ended. James and Riley were not some of those people, in fact College caused them to split and this time it didn't look like they were ever going to see each other again until one day Riley shows up at Michelle's door step..

He was needing an escape, somewhere to hide for a little while until things settles She was just in the wrong place at the right time James has spent his entire life bouncing between his family and his friends. His Dad has always had strict views on what he should be doing with his life and none of the corresponds with what James wants to do His Dad wants him to take over his business and the first step for that is College His Dad wants him to go to business school, to provide him with everything he needs to take over one day But James has other opinions. He doesn't want to become just another suit who works but isn't happy He wants to Dance, he wants to make Music, he wants the opportunity to choose his own life So just before he is due to make his ultimate choice of what school to attends, he runs... -- Riley has always gone to the beach house ever since she was a little girl. It was always the spot she would go to when it came to spending time with her Nana but after she had passed away last year she couldn't stomach returning But that changes this year She wants to keep the memory of her Nana alive and she knew that being in this beach house would be the exact thing she needs in order to make her decision Riley can follow her big sisters footsteps and follow her through college, or she can make a name for herself and start somewhere new Going to the beach house was supposed to be what she needed to clear her head, but Riley was not anticipated having company..

She was already heartbroken with the thought of James leaving but now had to manage the idea of being a single mother alone 5 years later, The Twins are 4 years old, James returns back to town only to find the biggest surprise there was.. How on earth is James could defend himself from Running From Responsibilities

Riley and Cameron have been the power couple for as long as anyone can remember.
