This screenplay picks up where the intro GIRLFRIENDS: NOW script ended. The books are designed to represent episodes in a continuing series. This is the first episode of the new series, written in book format. **Please read GIRLFRIENDS: NOW before beginning, this first episode of the series as the first book is the opening movie/book to the series. ** Thank you! This opening series focuses on Joan's daughter, Karolyn Waters, as Joan and Aaron are currently separated. Side Note: As I imagine what Joan's daughter would look like, I've decided to use a photo of Tracee Ellis Ross as a youngster, and it worked!
