James and Riley have never had the smoothest sailings in the world. To the point that after they made it over their last hurdle, they picked up and moved out of the city. Leaving all of their friends behind They grew the little family they wanted and now after a move back to the city, can James and Riley make it through it all?

Riley is new in town and moves in across the road from James and his family. Everyone appeared to welcome Riley with open arms but with James it was a lot more complicated than that. Every smile was a smirk and every hello resulted in a playful tease. The two were set in stone with similar attitudes towards one another but the longer they spend in each other's presence, the closer they grow and the more they get to know. But what happens when other people involve themselves in the two's dynamic also? What will happen to their state of attraction then?

After Riley secures a hard-earned scholarship to a prestigious school, hoping it will provide the fresh start she desperately needs. Behind her brave facade, however, Riley is far from okay. As the sole protector of her younger siblings from their toxic parents, she feels overwhelmed by the magnitude of her responsibilities. On the other hand, James, the popular guy on campus known for his emotional distance, finds himself inexplicably drawn to Riley's fiery spirit. As he delves deeper into her life and learns about her hardships, his infatuation transforms into an unyielding connection. Will their burgeoning bond be the light that guides Riley through the darkness?

This is a story of what I think what would of happened if Lily and James Potter survived.

Out of spite, Lily Evans creates a list of seven reasons why it's a bad idea that James be her boyfriend. But, as each year passes, the list of reasons why she hates James Potter gets shorter and shorter.

"Oh Lily, you really are amazing, you know that?" Lily sighed, same old James he was probably going to ask her out again in 3... 2... 1.... and... Nothing. Huh, she thought to herself, maybe he really has changed. James looked back at Lily and grinned, she quickly looked away and his face fell. I need to get her out of my head, he thought, she doesn't like me anymore, end of. No point in going after a girl who hates you anymore, who knows how much time we all have left. The door opened, and they both looked up. Prefects started filling the room, ready to start the new school year. Lily smiled professionally and James mimicked her, greeting and congratulating the other students. Before Lily started to speak, she took a last glance at James. He smiled slightly, his small dimples made him look so innocent and adorable. She breathed in and looked down at the paper in front of her, one thought protruding out from the rest, I will not fall in love with James Potter. --- In their final year at Hogwarts, Voldemort is on the rise, luckily though, Hogwarts is still safe... mostly. James and Lily are finally civil but Lily finds herself feeling something more that she can't keep denying. Remus is drowning himself in school work, blaming the upcoming NEWTs, but Sirius isn't convinced, could there be another reason for his constant avoidance? Meanwhile, a new arrival in school has easily made friends with all her fellow Gryffindors... except Marlene: determined to befriend the newbie, Marlene insists on spending more and more time with her. There could be more to all these friendships, but with the stress of NEWTS and a potential war on the horizon, will love blossom, or is it too dangerous to keep loved ones close? Mainly Jily, but wolfstar and Marlene x fem!oc slowburn fluff as secondary love plot lines :)

Growing up, James and his family always spent every summer down at the lake. It's always been the one consistent thing of the year, no matter how busy they all were.. Summer was dedicated to family and that is it Over the years the neighbours around the lake have always shifted depending on who had the chance to rent that year. James family and the family in the house to the left were the only families that would always return Emily and her mum return to the lake house ever summer, but this year Emily is bringing a blast from the past back to the Lake Riley grew up alongside the lake too. Emily and hunter have went missing and it's up to Riley and James to find them

The gang is back together in celebration of Hunter and Emily's Wedding Riley and James have been apart for almost 8 years now. They drift apart and found other people, there is no bad blood between them whatsoever However, what happens when they have to spend more one on one time due to being Maid of Honour and Best Man Can some old sparks ignite again?

The last 10 years of my life weren't my own. I had no say in them, no control over what happened. Some things worked out for the better, but others shook my reality enough for me to know there is no promise of tomorrow Coming home should never have been this scary, I shouldn't be worrying about what people will say, what people will think.
