"I don't know what you're all upset about Lily," Marlene said carefully, "This whole dance was your idea. You did know that dances require dates, right? And you've turned down several boys ... I figured you had a plan or something ... " In response, Lily just moaned, and threw her face back down into the pillow, "I did." Marlene raised an eyebrow, "Well, what happened then?" Lily pulled herself up into a sitting position, clearly about to go into a serious rant. "This dance," she sighed, "was going to be my way to ... well... ugh it doesn't even matter Marlene, he asked someone else." "Who!?" Marlene demanded, unsure of what to think, but despite the indications that Lily longed to rant, the redhead didn't answer. "You designed this entire dance just to get one boy to ask you out?" Mary realized, raising an eyebrow at her friend, impressed by the girl's ambition... ~ Lily designed a whole school dance so the boy she likes can ask her out. When he instead asks another girl, she must use the marauders and her friend Marlene to create the ultimate prank on James and make him jealous in return. The year is 1976 and the Triwizard tournament is back. It's the beginning of their Sixth year and James Potter puts his name in the goblet of fire along with his fellow marauders. The main reason he does it is to impress his crush, Lily Evans. Lily Evans despises James Potter. And what's worse is that he stupidly entered the most dangerous tournament around. He's careless, reckless and an idiot. But, what she hates most is that he bullies one of her best friends, Severus Snape. James soon realises battling enemies and solving problems won't woo the girl of his dreams. And Lily realises that James isn't the same boy she met in her first year... and neither is her friend Severus. This is another slowburn story of how these two dopes fall in love. (With a bit of added Sirius sass and some deadly challenges cause you know why not?) also don't worry we love a bit of Snape slander he's just a good plot point for to develop Jilys relationship with lol
