The aftermath of his parents and his sister and the Wayne's dearhs sent a young Dipper Pines shaken to the core the lose of his family in such a violent way two by gun shot. Those events the Wayne deaths in particular made him wonder how could something like this happen be treated so apathetically by the police and revelation of how corrupt the city is sent him to train for the day that his adopted city needs him. That day came where he became batman out of the fires of the near collapse of the USA after just after two years into his vigilante he and his allies will face a new breed of criminal. They've been in a feud since Bruce Wayne came back to Gotham. Everywhere The Joker goes Death follows and so does The Batman, but he's not the villain of this here's story.
