Johnny Toast lives in a small French village with his father. While he is seen as a social outcast, life is fairly okay and simple. When his father is captured and Johnny offers to take his place he will become part of a much bigger story.

A cold case has been sitting unsolved for over six years. Very little is known about it. Johnny Toast, Paranormal Investigator Extraordinaire, decides it's time to open the case up again. But, he's got to work solo. Johnny Ghost can't know the details of what the case entails-which winds up being much easier said than done.

It stared out as a simple case, really. Nothing out of the ordinary, for us anyway. I'm still not exactly sure what happened, but I know this much, it wasn't as normal as I'd like it to be.
