Alright so quick explanation of the anime: so basically in that universe there live humans and monsters, monsters go to school to choose their wife and principal gives them the 'wife catalog' the graduation album, they look through the pictures and choose a person they want. That person becomes the wife of a monster, the monsters don't have gender they are referred as -san or it/they. The main character will be Y/N so you choose gender and name. There may appear a picture where Y/n is male, but the picture is just there to show something, so just don't mind it when you see it.
