The frazzled messenger darted into the abandoned garage that had been turned into the meeting place of her gang. she turned quickly on her heel and slammed the no heavy garage door shut. She turned to face her gang members. "Everybody evacuate. S and his gang are on their way." Her hazel eyes were wide with panic. She watched as her leader leaned forward and placed his elbows on his upper thighs, his dark brown eyes clear of all emotions. "They have guns." One of the shooters laughed from somewhere in the back, his voice gruff from years of smoking.
"That's what we all assume."
The sound of tires squeaking sounded from the other sound of the garage door filled the stiff room. Next followed the sound of multiple shoes tapping against the tar of the street. She waited with a tense body for the sound of sharp knocking that quickly followed her anticipation. One of the members stationed near the door naively opened the garage door. He didn't have time to blink before his body crumpled to the concrete floor, her ears ringing after the sound of gun shots.
