Since the day JJ learnt how to talk, his mother taught him all about myths, legends and folklore in hopes of him having a better understanding of many things from the real world. But when she leaves JJ to deal with his alcoholic, abusive father at just ten years old, JJ loses all hope. For if her and his dad were destined to be together like she said they were, like the red thread of fate legend said they were, why did she leave? And if it was all a lie, that meant JJ would never find the person who was created and destined to be with him. But then, he meets Pope. All anxiety and calm tied together in a sweet, joyful package that made JJ's heart race whenever he spoke or whenever his stunning hazel eyes would catch his. But also the one person he could not have. Just how much can JJ take of not being able to express his feelings before everything comes pouring out?
