Avery is content on her own, even though she often feels lonely, but there is one person who is eager to snatch her away of this loneliness. His name is Peter Pan. He takes her to Neverland, the land where all dreams come true, but Neverland is not the land Avery has read about so often in her books. Captain Hook has never had a happy thought in his life. Yet when he needs it the most, the best one pops in his brain resulting in a great story with a twist ending that could have been there in J.M. Barrie's original story, if it wasn't for its dark turn...

A small analysis on the work of J.M. Barrie that had been lying somewhere in my google documents and deserved some publication. Have you ever wondered what reading the actual book of Peter Pan is like? Have you always dreamed of visiting Neverland? Well, I present you this review to enlighten you on the subject to change your mind a tad about our beloved flying boy from Neverland. (This is purely meant to downgrade the original work.) PS: Bear with me.

"All children grow up, except one," my grandmother Jane would tell me, as my great-grandmother Wendy would tell her. "Wendy had Jane, Jane had Moira, and Moira had me-Angela. For decades after the initial meeting with Peter Pan, the Darling women who descended from Wendy were visited by The Boy Who Never Grew Up, taken to Neverland one fateful night during a hopeful daughter's youth and stopping once they grew up. Except me. Also, my mother is dead." Angela Darling-Warren is the great-granddaughter of Wendy Darling, who was never taken to Neverland by Peter Pan and whose mother died very young. Now an adult struggling to make her way into the working world, she is abducted by Captain Hook and brought into a world of adventure where she uncovers the events of her dead mother's mystifying past and discovers a concerning event to come-Neverland will be no more, and Peter Pan has gone absolutely mad.
