Emma Swan just recently went through a very messy divorce. She is tired of laying around and feeling sorry for herself every day. Not only that, but she is also getting tired of the city. Being around loud sirens and tons of road raged drivers just isn't doing it for her anymore. So, she is deciding to move to the country for a little while to get away from everything. She decides that she needs to connect with nature and life more. However, her trip down south doesn't go exactly how she plans. She originally plans on staying for the summer but when she meets her temporary boss, Killian Jones, he may just change her mind on how long she wishes to stay.

This is a colifer high school AU. It started as a one shot but I decided to turn it into a new story. Jennifer is 18, Colin is 16 they're both attending Prospect High School in Illinois, Chicago (Jen really went there, Colin obviously didn't but in this story he does) how he ended up there will be explained. It didn't actually happen. It's fiction so no offense. Rated M for possible smut in later chapters. Enjoy!
