**ON HIATUS**Roman is an upcoming baseball and cross country star. Being one of the most athletic kids in school, it comes as a shock to many how humble he really is. For one, he never brags about his achievements. Two, he brushes off any compliments he gets. He loves his life and is on a roller coaster that only goes up. That is, until his dad looses his job and Roman is thrown into a spiral of misfortune. When his friends tell him they know a girl who likes him, he thinks his life is taking a turn for the good. Then, on a walk home from school, tragedy strikes and Roman isn't sure that it's worth keeping his feelings locked inside of him anymore. Slow burning romance novel

Being an employee of any organization where you spend your precious time of life and your performance is also up to the mark to get sudden messages from your immediate supervisor or from the HR department that you are going to be laid off from your job suddenly is shocking.

She poured milk into the bowl slowly, with measure, until it was about half full. It brought her peace to do it that way, without any droplets splattering, without the inner edge of the bowl becoming wet where it didn't need to be. Shassi waited patiently beside her until she was done and only approached for a drink once she stood up.

Emma is a normal girl who lived in New York City, but after her dad loses his job they must move across the country to the small town of Hood River, Oregon to be with the rest of her family. There she will make friends, lose friends, and face challenges that will make her feel like there is no hope.
