This is a 10 episode reboot of the popular television series Jodha Akbar. The story takes place in modern times, during which the city of Agraa is prey to terrorists. Jalal aka Akbar, a great ruthless terrorist from Agra, has the sweet but formidable princess Jodha kidnapped to submit the political authorities to his power. Initially enemies, sharing different opinions on life, the two protagonists, through their constant contact with each other, learn to know each other and soon to love each other. But that's without counting on Ruqaya, Jalal's wife, who fears for her marriage and for her husband's redemption.

I fell in love with Hrithik Roshan in Jodha Akbar. Despite the grandeur of the film, I still thought something was missing. In the film Akbar was too perfect and you know I don't like too right characters. For me a bit of wickedness should be there to make it more interesting so I wrote my own version. Of course changed everything except a few characters for it is impossible to write historical fiction with a bit of reality. Except those characters everything else is product of my imagination.
