That's until her father gets into some serious debt with the peaky blinders and is forced to hand over Evangeline and betroth her to a Shelby. Opening her eyes to a world full of excitement!

Arabella French has always been a kind, gentle, loving girl. Even when she was with the Peaky Blinders. Her dad has always been a Peaky Blinder and Arabella has always been friends with John Shelby, for as long as she can remember. They were inseparable as kids and teens, then young adults. Then war struck and John was shipped off alongside his brothers and Arabella's brother. Arabella had always loved John as more then a friend but when he was away fighting Arabella found love with some other man. When John returns, she notices that he has changed and realises that maybe she made the wrong choice with her new man.
