I mean, we're all scared but... the things they do... In an effort to combat this darkness, the Fireflies were created. Marlene's group of ragtag rebels that really believe they can make a difference. I don't know, I just... I want her back... Anna, my best friend. All I have left of her is her fiery daughter Ellie. Ellie, who wasn't even born when the Cordyceps outbreak first occurred. I thought that adjusting to the apocalypse was hard, I can't even imagine... this is all she knows... this dust and decay, this world, a ruin of what was a great and mighty nation.

To sum things up, short & to the point: This story takes place after Joel lies to Ellie. Their relationship grows from there, whether it's good or bad, Tommy and Maria eventually introduce someone new, and a major death happens towards the end of this FanFiction.
