Status: Completed ~~~ FEMALE PRONOUNS USED most of the time because it's easier for me to write that way, but I will use gender-neutral pronouns when I can. I've organized the stories by "fandom" and the first 6 chapters are tag games. Estelle prides herself on her mind for numbers but a usurper from her past rears his russet head and threatens to steal her thoughts every chance he gets. Bessie has been searching for a home in every patron in that cafe but she's left seeing his face everywhere she looks. Constance hears her lover's voice on the wind, finding quiet in the graveyard shift of the machine shop. Margaret refuses to admit defeat but the distance between her letters and her love grows wider each day. Jeannette has read many stories about tragic heroes. Her childhood friend has told tales of his plans for wealth and ending the war on his own. She just hopes she has a chance to do her part first.

The Soldier of Stars ~ Band of Brothers [1] A young woman who finds peace in the stars, and let's them guide her even through the darkness that might overcome her. __________ Hazel Parker of the WAC, Catherine McCown of SPARs and Elizabeth Elliot of the Cadet Nurses' Corps take part in Operation Virago which will send 250 women to the front lines to fight alongside men. The government, along with the War Department and direction from General Eisenhower decide this is a secret, covert operation that the public will be shielded from, to see how integrating women into war will work. Each of the 250 women come with their own ambitions of what they want from war and why they signed up in the first place to be apart of this program. They become split into each of the 5 branches with leverage from each of the branch commanders, and split into groups of 2, 3, or 4 women and are placed into their different respective branches. The enlisted men of each branch, well, they do not know exactly how to approach a woman who, at the moment, has more military training and experience by the time they get placed into their positions. Hazel Parker, Catherine McCown and Elizabeth Elliot are placed into the 101st Airborne, the first 3 women to be apart of the Airborne. A few other women head off to the 82nd. These 3 women become part of the 506th and are put under 2nd Battalion, in Easy Company. The choices he made were hard ones, but they made life better for millions of people, and that was what mattered. He was upstanding. Perfect, even, not a misdemeanor to his name, but one mistake can raze even the strongest walls. George Luz is his opposite in every way possible. A former Marine, Luz did things people can only have nightmares about, and he did them in the name of the U.S. government, a sentiment he has long since abandoned. Now he's one of America's most notorious and elusive criminals. He doesn't believe in mistakes; things may not go according to plan, but that doesn't mean he's about to mark it down as a failure.

After completing two years of service as regular infantry, First Sergeant Megan Bonti finally decides to request a transfer to be a part of the paratroops. She had just about had enough of her commanding officer underestimating her abilities and wanted something new. She had been one of the first qualified paratroops and thus decided to transfer to where her skills could be better used. When she first arrives at Toccoa, she isn't quite sure what she's in for. The men seem welcoming enough but are quite a rowdy bunch. Despite being their new senior NCO, they quickly take her under their wing and she's very much like a sister to them, dubbing her 'Angel' or 'Angel Eyes'. This does not go unnoticed by a certain Lt.
