The partial accelerator malfunctions once turned on. Barry Allen a CSI at CCPD gets hit by lightning created by the accelerator putting him into a coma for 9 months. When he wakes up he finds nothing is the same as when he went into his coma. He has powers and is not the only one. He partners up with Silas Stone to help the city as The Flash.
