Hi there, it's nice to meet you:) You may not know me, but I've seen you around the park. Hope I'm not being too creepy or anything, I just wanted to make friends. Can we meet up one day so we can chat? If you feel unsafe meeting a stranger, we can meet at the front of the police station and proceed to the bench in the park directly infront. I also hope I don't come off as desperate to you, you seem like a wonderful person and you're beautiful too... ************************************************** When I tried getting back at my parents for sheltering me like an animal, I ate junk food like a gluten as I knew it would agitate the health freaks that call themselves my parents. The problem is that I didn't expect my next checkup to be attached to an alarm of my health. I just wanted to agitate my parents, not die because of my ignorance. Upon leaving the doctors office, I decided to do something to improve my health. Cardio was the first step along with eating right and on time. What I hadn't prepared for was a beautiful woman that would haunt me everywhere I went-Not physically but mentally. Either way I needed to get to know her so I can get her out of my mind. It's not like I have a chance, but why not try-already expecting disappointment. I really need a good woman in my life, but if not, I can deal with the friendzone. It's not like I got abs like a model or the minty breath of a Colgate advertisement. What I do have is a funny persona and Im cuddly for the moment-at least until my cardio pays off. Above the high-rise building and under the pouring sky in the middle of the night, a girl in full wakefulness found herself wandering through her disquieted psyche-pondering, reflecting, and dreaming. Not just a girl, but a lady in her early twenties, feeling adrift in the currents of existence, trying to embrace the dissonance of a new dawn. A soul in ink. The eyes that sees Manila more than what the capital seems to be. © 2024 @thedamselle. All Rights Reserved.

"B. A. Bellec has crafted a masterpiece of emotive and well-rounded young adult fiction." K.C. Finn - Author "A gripping story of teenage life and the many problems they face. A RED RIBBON WINNER and highly recommended." The Wishing Self Book Awards "B.A. Bellec has truly created a masterpiece that deserves worldwide recognition, awards and so much more." Rebecca Ryan - Reedsy In his debut endearing coming-of-age book, B.A. Bellec writes about a group of weirdos that find and save each other from the dark depths of their minds. Someone's Story is literally Someone's story, as in a first-person narrative of a teenager that calls himself Someone. As he struggles to find a new footing in a new space, we encounter the many ups and downs of modern teenage life, the difficulties that adjusting to adult feelings bring, and a few tear-jerking surprises along the way. Littered with music, mental health issues, friendship, loss, meditation, advice, pop culture, and even inspiring an EP, there is so much nostalgia, inspiration, and depth here it is hard to absorb it all. Cozy up somewhere warm and enjoy!
