Calista Reyes had led a simple life in the District Five in Panem. Studying and working while being in her last year of schooling, once her birthday had gone and passed by she had hopes of living a fulfilling life. The sun shined brightly on the reaping day her last year qualifying- giving the girl hope that she'd be lucky enough not to be reaped. Then the worst happened, her fate sealed the moment she heard her name. Calista Reyes wanted to paint her poster in a way no other victor had.

Peeta and I had just arrived in the capitol to participate in the 75th hunger games. It was horrible. I just couldn't imagine having to be in the games again, and the worst part was that this time one of us had to die. That's what I was most worried about right now. I didn't want Peeta to die, because he was my friend and a really good person. The one that deserved to die was me. I was a fool and didn't even cared about anything but surviving.
